NASHVILLE — State Senator Ken Yager (R-Kingston) has set the date for his fourth annual free Grant Conference. The purpose of the conference is to improve opportunities for local citizens, organizations and governments to find and tap into a wide variety of grant funds available to them.
The conference will be held on Wednesday, September 21st at Roane State Community College, at 276 Patton Lane in Harriman in the O’Brien Theatre from 8:30 am until 1:30 pm EST. Check-in for the event begins at 8:00 am EST.
“There are a wide variety of grants that are available to individuals, organizations and government agencies if we know how to tap into these funds,” said Senator Yager. “We do not want to miss any possible opportunity to receive funds that are available to us in the 12th Senatorial District. The experts presenting at this conference will help maximize our potential to identify and receive these grants.”
The conference is free of charge but attendees should R.S.V.P. by calling (615) 741-1449 (toll free at 449-TENN ext. 11449) or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Please provide the name, title and organization (if any), email and telephone number of attendees. Those with questions may also call (615) 741-1449.
“This conference has been tremendously successful over the past three years,” added Sen. Yager. “The grants that have been received help our communities grow stronger. And, with the best lineup of speakers this year, I expect even better results. I hope to see a big crowd this year as we work to bring these funds home to Campbell, Fentress, Morgan, Rhea, Roane, Pickett and Scott Counties.”
