NASHVILLE — State Senator Ken Yager (R-Kingston) has scheduled a Campbell County Listening Meeting in order to meet with local citizens and discuss legislation being considered by the General Assembly during the 2020 legislative session. Yager said he will also be available to offer assistance to individuals who need help with state services.
The meeting will be held on Thursday, March 19, at 5:00 p.m. EST at the Campbell County Courthouse at 570 Main Street in Jacksboro.
“The General Assembly is considering a wide variety of matters of importance to the people of Campbell County such as our state budget, criminal justice reform, vocational education, job growth, rural economic development, tax relief, and extending broadband services, to name a few,” said Senator Yager. “I want to hear from local citizens about these issues and other matters of importance to them. I also want to remain open and available to offer assistance to constituents who need help with state government agencies.”
“I look forward to this event and hope to meet with our many friends here, both old and new, as we discuss how to make Tennessee a better place to work, live, and raise a family.”
